One day she ordered one number of rib-eye from her office and we went on preparing dinner. Since this is not bought from supermarket we had to slice the beef ourselves (or correction: he had to slice the beef himself).
Cutting away the faaats!
After much effort of slicing.
Not without lots of frustration because the knife we had wasn't really sharp. We originally thought my mum was buying rump and he actually youtubed on how to slice rump (since he only bought sliced ones before) so when he was slicing the rib-eye he kept asking "are you sure this is rump?" "the one in the video doesn't look like this" "omg why knife so blunt even after sharpening urgharghsnskudchnoob"
"Show me your dulan (annoyed) face!" just for show, haha.
I prepared the salad instead and left him to deal with the meat :p
Speaking of the salad, we didn't have any so we went out in the afternoon to get some from Tesco. I was getting other groceries and he wandered off to get a basket. When he got back with the basket he had Sarsi in his other hand and he was already drinking it. I gave him a -_____- look immediately. Boy can't even wait till we get back when I already told him I had coke at home.
Back to the steak! :9
The steak turned out great, all my family members and even the neighbor enjoyed it. There was also a suitable piece for everyone. Prefer yours medium rare? - get the thick slice; want it well done-ish? - get the thinner slice. T'was an awesome dinner :)

I'm hungry now. :(
