He's coming here later to get a free hair cut from me for the second time (the first one turned out awesome, just look at the previous photos!). One, he gets to save $10 and two, I give way better hair cuts than the saloons he goes to - they tend to over cut and it'd turn out crappy, which is why he doesn't care if I screw up because he's used to it. The only thing is his hair is extremely coarse - the last time I cut his hair my thumb and index finger ended up sore because his hair is so damn hard :<
3 days more till my flight back to Malaysia. I think I'm going to create a list of things I want to do while I'm back home.
- Spend more time with the family. - Sometimes when I join in with Shin & his family it made me miss mine badly. Coming overseas to study really made me appreciate family.
- Eat awesome Malaysian food. - Oh how I miss bak kut teh, mamak, pan mee etc. I hope the first meal I get to have after I touch down is bak kut teh and not just any bak kut teh, I want Jalan Ipoh bak kut teh.
- Swim. - I only swam once since I've been here and god knows how badly I miss swimming.
- Play squash with mum. - Just a few days ago mum told me she just bought 2 new squash racquets (buy 1 free 1!) and I'm looking forward to playing with her even though I'll probably end up losing terribly (she used to represent her uni for squash back in the days).
- Do more photography experiments/projects. - Since I will have all the time in the world and materials are easily accessible.
- Catch up with friends. - I miss the people I can act all crazy with :>
- Read. - For the past 6 months I have read nothing except for course materials, it doesn't help that the only alphabets/words I have to write/read/memorise/understand are mathematical unknowns or chemical names of some sort.
- Cook. - Without completely relying on the microwave :x
- Enjoy Chinese New Year. -
Get more ang paos!Just kidding. I hope to be more responsive and patient towards long-winded relatives. - Shop. - Retail stores in Australia are... boring. And overpriced. I see the same stores everywhere carrying the same style of clothing and are mostly made in China (not to say that it's bad but I can get the same items for a much lesser price in places like Times Square and Sungei Wang).
Off I go have my breakfast now (oats, as usual), and maybe watch an episode or two of Friends while waiting for time to pass (I just finished season 5 and I find Chandler & Monica sooooo adorable, they are so cute together! :>).
Edit: change of plans, I'm going to his place instead. Wow now he saves on both transport and saloon - damn he's lucky, haha.
