CNY open house @ sook moon's :) it was great catching up with the TCSH peeps, stuffing ourselves silly, introducing Shin to them (and vice versa) , gambling (even though I lost $ and Shin won about RM20 ;__;) etc.

If we had wings.

What a cute group photo!
ReplyDeleteJodi Picoult! I actually haven't read her stuff in years ... last book was probably 'The Pact'? How's this one? :) If we had wings ... I'm pretty sure we'd all save heaps on public transporation hahaha. Btw, I tagged you on my last blog post, check it out! :)
I haven't finished this one so I can't say yet, but the last book of hers I finished - Nineteen Minutes is definitely good and pretty thought provoking :) Wings: no more traffic jams as well gahh :D
DeleteSaw your tag, will def do it soon :)
I'm trying to get through Jodi Picoult's 'My Sister's Keeper', as much as people loved it I'm really struggling to get through it. I really admire your skill to peel a mandarin in one piece - something I try and fail at.
ReplyDeletePs, I nominated your blog for the Liebster Blog Award. :)
That might be the next book of hers I would read after I finish this one (:
Delete& haha, I had a lot of practice with the mandarin orange xD
Thanks for the nomination btw! Appreciate it alot :)
House Rules is really good. But another of her works (which I LOVE btw) that I would like to recommend is "Handle With Care". It's a beautiful eye-opening book that, despite its thickness, I would read and re-read over and over again :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendation! I'll keep that in mind :)
